Cashew & Black Garlic Miso
What makes this different is that it is a blended miso, giving it an extremely smooth and creamy texture. A young roasted Cashew miso is blended with Black Soybeans, Chickpeas, Black Garlic to create this luxurious Umami loaded paste, making it one of our most versatile products in the Miso category. It has funk throughout it, it's sweet, it's fruity, it's umami, it's slightly reminiscent of parmesan. All in all it has great body & character.
The best-by date serves as an indicator to inform consumers that the miso will be at peak quality for at least the given amount of time or a couple of months beyond that point. Beyond that period, the miso doesn't spoil, but there might be a slight degradation in quality, color, and taste (less sweet, more funky) due to its live nature.
Generally, miso can remain good for up to a year, especially when stored in a freezer to maintain its best quality.
