Anuttama is a Farm-to-Bar (Bean to Bar) Artisanal Chocolate maker from Puttur, Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka. The founders come from an agricultural background and have been growing cacao from a few decades. When pandemic struck in 2020, they started exploring newer avenues. All of these explorations led them to the path of chocolate production and the journey of chocolate making started.
True to their name, Anuttama, they started building a superior quality chocolate brand. They use their own farm & locally sourced cocoa, sweeten it with jaggery, dates and coconut sugar. The chocolates are then processed naturally without the use of chemicals. There are no added preservatives, artificial colours/flavours, vegetable fats or emulsifiers. Infact, they explore fusion of local flavours with their bars.
Their vision is to provide healthier dark chocolate, using natural process with natural flavors, and support farmers to grow more cocoa and create employment.
