Onigirazu by Namita Satheesh
Ingredients:
  • 1/4th cup brown rice
  • 1/4th cup quimoa
  • A slab of tofu
  • Pickled carrots (carrots fermented in vinegar)
  • 1/2 Green bell pepper
  • I cup mushrooms
  • 2 Nori Sheets
  • Oriental mayo (mayo, sesame oil, soy sauce, toasted sesame seeds)
Method:
Prepare the individual components
  • Cook the portions of brown rice, and quinoa and garnish it with coriander
  • Cut tofu into strips and give it a bit of a pan fry
  • Saute the mushrooms with some garlic and soy sauce
Using the picture as reference, assemble away pro sandwich maker
I’ve used brown rice and quinoa here, a thicccc slab of grilled tofu, some pickled carrots, capsicum and garlicky mushrooms, the mayo- all this wrapped in a nori sheet.
What a delicious meal
